The most feared warriors of the elder kind are the rogroms. A head taller than humans, they are muscular and broad with thick necks and fingers; the perfect body type to haul rocks or heft massive weapons. Their dirt-colored skin is uneven and rough, like the mountainsides they build their strongholds up against. The rogroms are said to be expert craftsmen of stone, sculpting statues and fortifying structures with their great knowledge of the material. Most notable about the rogrom culture is their emphasis on glory and individualism. This is said to be their greatest asset as well as their most profound shortcoming, causing their downfall during the Great War. Driven almost to extinction, there is no longer a community of rogroms in all of Draza. They are scattered among the cities of the humans often discriminated against by those who fail to remember their sacrifices during the Great War. While the rogroms are said to age as slowly as the rocks themselves, it is with great shame that one should live to see a grandchild die in battle. Without a homeland, it is believed by most scholars to only be a matter of time until the rogroms are no more than a memory.
